Dearest Rodeo Fans,

What better way to spend a summer weekend than at the 92nd Annual Livermore Rodeo?! I am Bailey Castello and I am ecstatic to represent the "World's Fastest Rodeo."

Make sure you save June 12 and 13th to come and see why they call Livermore the "World's Fastest Rodeo." You will see talented cowboys, cowgirls and just as athletic rodeo stock. Join me and witness the action packed bull riding and the quick hands of tie down ropers. So grab your tickets and I will be seeing you there.

There has never been a doubt in my mind that I wanted to be a Miss Livermore Rodeo. These rodeo grounds babysat me in my childhood years. I am deeply and truly honored to represent my favorite rodeo, favorite town, favorite community, and my favorite rodeo committee. I feel blessed to be in the presence of people I love and care for so deeply. Livermore Rodeo Queen Rachel Nelson

I will be turning 20 this summer and I am currently working for Ising's Culligan right here in Livermore. Dental school is in my near future and I am looking forward to becoming a dental hygienist. I have been team roping since I was thirteen and have grown to crave it more and more! I love to read comedy and laughing never gets old. I believe some of the best friends you will ever have, stand on four legs. Sandy was my queen horse that I competed on until she was 31. Now I have Cooper and he has a huge heart. Not only is he my rope horse, he is my peace of mind. One of the things that make Cooper so special, is the friend I purchased him from. Rest in peace Tony; knowing you have made me a better person.

Growing up I showed lambs and steers at the Alameda County fair. My first junior rodeo I placed second in the team roping with past Livermore Junior Rodeo queen Megan Jones. It felt great to beat the boys! It felt even better to win the Hayward Local team roping with my Gramps Melvin Castello. I love him dearly and it was the best feeling to experience with someone I love so much!

I would like to thank the Livermore Rodeo committee for the opportunity to represent our great rodeo! The Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Association puts so much time and effort into making this rodeo as fantastic as it is. To our rodeo sponsors, your love for rodeo and the western way of life are what make this all possible, Thank You. To my family, thank you for your unconditional love and support. It means a lot to be in a family with so much love.

Well rodeo fans, I look forward to meeting you at this year’s rodeo! So cinch up and enjoy the "World's Fastest Rodeo!"

Bailey Castello
